Step 1 – Gather required documentation
Please visit WBENC's website for a full listing of all mandatory documentation required for certification. If an item doesn't apply to your company, be sure to include a statement to that effect with your application.
Step 2 – Complete the WBENC online application and Sworn Affidavit
Go to WBENCLink, register as a new user, and begin the online application. When you complete the last page of the application, print the summary view and Sworn Affidavit. Be sure to review for accuracy. The majority female owner must sign the Sworn Affidavit and have it notarized.
Step 3 – Submit your package to GWBC®
Mail all required documents and the non-refundable processing fee to GWBC.

American Express OPEN's second annual State of Women-Owned Businesses Report found that Georgia's women-owned businesses have grown in number by 95% in the last 15 years! North Carolina is ranked 3rd with 83% growth, and South Carolina is ranked 9th with 68% growth!
In addition, Georgia was rated one of the Top Ten States for Women-Owned Firms, using a combination of growth in number and economic clout.
