Sharpe Awards at the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.In addition to publishing in academic journals, Tkac frequently speaks to academic and practitioner groups and has appeared on C-SPAN and as an op-ed writer in the Wall Street Journal.

Drew Webster works as an advisor to all Georgia State University faculty, researchers, and staff who are being sponsored by their departments on issues regarding the filing of employment-based visas and green cards, while also overseeing the J-1 scholar program. Drew previously worked for Georgia State advising F-1 and J-1 students. Drew’s most recent position prior to GSU was at The University of Texas at Austin, where he worked with J-1 scholars, employment-based visas, and green card petitions.

Patrina King is an avid Golfer, Entrepreneur, Youth Advocate, Founder of Golf Women Mean Business, LLC and Author of 9 Holes 9 Goals, A Beginner’s Guide to Doing Business on the Course. As a former Human Resources Professional, Patrina’s forte was background checks, employee development and employer unemployment claims. She understood that being successful is not always a straight process. She decided against choosing any of the 36 opportunities to play collegiate golf and attend college without any extracurricular activities in order to focus on getting her career started. Patrina has developed a great passion for educating professional women on how to use golf for business.

Niv Persaud, CFP®, is the Founder of Transition Planning & Guidance™, LLC. She developed the 5 P’s of Life (Personal Relationships, Personal Finance, Profession, Peace of Mind, and Physical Health) to help clients define what they want from life and once she understands their vision, she helps them save for their lifestyle. Niv has over 25 years of business experience as a strategy and finance executive. Her work history includes firms such as Korn/Ferry International, Northern Trust, Merrill Lynch, and Commerzbank AG. Since 2013, Niv has participated in National Sporting Clay Association registered shoots. She has placed in several competitions for the preliminary course, 28-gauge FITASC, 20-gauge FITASC, 20-gauge course, and 28-gauge course. While accumulating trophies, she’s enjoyed watching the growth in female popularity for this.

Jenny Taylor is the Fleet Engineering Supervisor within the Technical Services group of Fleet Operations. She leads a team that has a vast array of responsibilities including writing technical specifications, ordering fleet equipment, assisting the customer on all their fleet equipment needs including financials and replacements, helping to ensure electric vehicle goals are met and fleet technical training that covers the entire Southern Company footprint. Jenny was the first known female to serve the in the roles of Fleet Engineer, Fleet Supervisor and Fleet Engineering Supervisor at Georgia Power.

And she has visited the White House on multiple occasions as a small business ambassador under the previous administration, where she was privileged to meet President Obama personally.
